Craig Walker – DipFMBM

I established First Finance Solutions (FFS) in 1992 after an 11 year career with the ANZ Bank mainly working in Business Bank to Relationship Management level. I am now in my 36th year in the finance industry and just passed 25 years as a Broker and have seen a lot of changes in the market over that time. The depth of knowledge and vast experience I have positions me perfectly to help people who need independent and innovative advice as well as a high level of professionalism when dealing with often life changing financial decisions. I love what I do. Whether it be helping a first home buyer achieve their dreams or a business reach their full potential – I am driven to make the finance experience for my clients both liberating and enjoyable.

Outside of work I enjoy sport particularly basketball, AFL, golf and listening to 70’s and 80’s rock music. I retired as Treasurer of the Blackburn Vikings after 15 years but still maintain a keen interest and still play in the local master’s competition. I am now devoted to my two grandchildren and love spending time at our beach house on the Mornington Peninsula

Ben Walker – BBus DipFMBM

After completing my Bachelor of Finance, I started working for Commonwealth bank in customer service, I then moved to lending and found a passion for creating solutions that helped my clients achieve their financial and personal goals. I joined First Finance Solutions in 2015. I pride myself on taking the time to educate my clients on strategies (in conjunction with their accountant) to increase their wealth, whether it is structuring accounts to reduce loan term, tax minimization strategies or a combination of strategies.

I have in the past few years been fortunate to win a number of industry awards including Buyers Choice Asset Finance Broker of the Year 2021, Australian Mortgage Excellence Award for Productivity, State finalist for MFAA Young Professional Award in 2022 and the Buyers Choice Managing Director Award for 2022.

Outside of work I play basketball regularly, I play in the same team as Craig in the local master’s competition. I also like to get out and play golf when possible and spend as much time as I can with my family and friends.
